Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently made an appearance in the UK before going to Germany for an event counting down to the Invictus Games, which will be held in September 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Harry and Meghan walked hand in hand to the red carpet event in the city.
People says that Prince Harry was honest about how important the Invictus Games are to him and Meghan Markle’s relationship. He told me: “During the Toronto Games, we went out in public for the first time as part of our jobs. At the time, we were dating, so there was a lot to take in. Luckily, we were with the right group of people for that.”
The Duke of Sussex went on to say that having Meg by his side meant everything to him because he had always wanted to share these amazing moments with someone special. People say that Stephan Keller, the mayor of Düsseldorf, welcomed the newlyweds to City Hall with a loud cheer from the crowd.
The last time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex went to the UK was in June for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. Archie and Lilibet Diana, their children, were also there. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles met Prince Harry and Lilibet for the first time during their tour in June. During a recent speech in Manchester, Markle said that she gave a keynote speech two years after moving to the US. She said that it felt good to be back.
