Ranveer Singh is “proud of India’s diversity” after winning the award for “Most Loved Hindi Actor in South India.”

Ranveer Singh was named “Most Loved Hindi Actor in South India” on Saturday.

While winning his award at the 10th South Indian International Movie Awards, Ranveer expressed his appreciation for the cultural diversity that exists inside India, saying that it is precisely this that makes our country’s film industry so vibrant and exciting.

As a starting point, I’d like to tell you that the cultural diversity in the United States is one of my favourite things about this country. We have the most cultural diversity of any nation. Cultural diversity is what makes the United States great, and Ranveer argued that all 50 states should be celebrated for their unique traditions. He expressed his profound appreciation for the opportunity to pursue his passion for art by saying, “I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to be allowed to do this, just to be an artist.”

On the Oscars stage, director Bong Joon-ho expressed his gratitude that people are “rising above that one-inch thing called subtitles to be accepting of these most wonderful and amazing stories from different languages and different cultures.” He went on to say, “That’s my favourite part about India’s 75 years of independence. There used to be a time when language was a barrier, but how wonderful that we no longer live in such a time.”

Next up for Ranveer is Rohit Shetty’s “Cirkus,” in which he co-stars with Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. The release date for the film is anticipated to be close to the holidays, in 2022.

Ranveer also has Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which stars Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. On February 11, 2023, audiences will be treated to the world premiere of the film.
