Ricky Martin sues his nephew for $20 million because he says the nephew abused him.

Reports say that Ricky Martin sued him for $20 million after his nephew said he had sexually abused him. TMZ says that the musician filed the lawsuit on Wednesday in the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Nearly a month after Ricky’s restraining order against Martin’s 21-year-old nephew Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, the complaint was filed.

Sanchez is said to have started sending Martin messages on Instagram and threatened to “kill his name and integrity” if Martin didn’t pay up. Martin says this is true. Court documents say that Sanchez, who has been called a “maladjusted person,” bragged about being his nephew and sent him too many texts up to ten times a day for four months.

The lawsuit also says that the singer’s nephew gave out his phone number online and made an Instagram account for one of the singer’s kids. Martin and his wife, Jwan Yosef, have three kids: twins Matteo and Valentino, who are 13, Lucia, who is 3, and Renn, who is 2.

Martin and his nephew first got into a fight in July, when Martin talked about the accusations against him in a video and said he couldn’t talk about them because they were still in court. Ricky posted a video message on social media after his nephew dropped the charges against him. He said, “It has been so traumatic and devastating for me, my family, and my friends. The singer also had the support of his husband at the time.
