What a new book says: Meghan Markle said she would leave Prince Harry when…

A new book says that Meghan Markle told “many members” of her staff that she wasn’t getting paid to go with Prince Harry to royal events.

Valentine Low, a royal writer for The Times, said in his book “In Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown” that the Duchess of Sussex complained that she didn’t get paid for meeting Australian fans after an event in 2018.

Valentine Low told The Sun that Meghan Markle didn’t understand why she was going on all those walks and shaking hands with so many strangers, even though she liked the attention.

During a fall royal visit in October 2021, the author said, “Behind the scenes, it was a different story.”

Many staff members, according to the book, heard her say at least once, “I can’t believe I’m not getting paid for this.”

During their 16-day trip to four countries, Meghan and Prince Harry met a lot of people.
